A great family run hotel with a fantastic location right in the heart of Florence. Great buffet breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our room had 2 large windows overlooking the Arno River. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful booking a tour for us to the Prada outlet which I definitely recommend. Next time I go to Florence I will definitely be going back to The Hotel Balestri.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Hotel Balestri. You couldn’t ask for a better location right next to Ponte Vecchio. All that Florence has to offer is within walking distance. It was very convenient for sight seeing, shopping and eating out. We walked from the station but I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a lot of luggage. The rooms are spacious which is a bonus as I was travelling with two small children. We had a balcony with views over the river and the satellite tv kept my children entertained. The staff were very warm and friendly. You can’t go wrong with The Hotel Balestri.

We chose an excellent place to stay while in Florence. The Hotel Balestri met all our expectations and more. A bit far from the station but located right in the centre of Florence right next to all the famous attractions. Every morning we started off with a great breakfast that kept us going all day. The staff were very pleasant. We had a great room overlooking the roof tops of Florence. They charge a bit more for a river view but it is probably worth it. If you are looking for a great place to enjoy this beautiful city I can’t recommend the Hotel Balestri enough.
